Coconut-pecan filling and frosting
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla
- pkg - 1 oz
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- egg yolks, slightly beaten - 4 item
- pecans, chopped
- 1/2 sticks butter or margarine - 1 item
How to make coconut-pecan filling and frosting:
Mix milk, sugar, margarine, egg yolks and vanilla in a large saucepan. Cook and stir on medium heat about 12 minutes or until thickened and golden brown. Remove from heat. Stir in coconut and pecans.
