Coconut macaroons
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- shredded coconut
- egg whites - 2 item
- corn flakes
How to make coconut macaroons:
Beat egg whites. Gradually beat in sugar. Fold in remaining ingredients. Drop 3-inches apart onto well-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325° for 12 minutes or until light brown. Yields 2 1/2 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
