Coconut custard pie


Ingredients/Components
- large eggs or 4 medium eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- milk
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- shredded coconut - 1 c
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- nutmeg - 1 item
How to make coconut custard pie:
Beat eggs slightly and add sugar and salt. Add milk and vanilla. Strain custard. Add coconut to custard mixture, pour into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in hot oven at 425° for 25 to 35 minutes or until knife comes out clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
