  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • marshmallow cream - 1 c
  • coconut extract - 1/2 tsp
  • Cook in double boiler until thick and smooth

How to make coconut cream pie:

Combine all ingredients except milk and vanilla, then stir in well. Cook in double boiler until thick and smooth. Add flavoring. Pour into baked pie shell.Meringue:3 egg whites1 c. marshmallow cream1/4 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. coconut extract Top with meringue made of 3 egg whites, 1 cup marshmallow cream, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract. Beat egg whites and salt. When stiff, add marshmallow cream and beat. Add coconut extract. Bake in 350° oven until brown as desired.
