Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 6 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- coconut flavoring - 1 tsp
- butter or oleo soft - 1/2 c
How to make coconut cream cheese pound cake:
Cream the butter, shortening and cream cheese, gradually adding sugar. Beating well at medium speed, add eggs. Beat well after each egg. Combine flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture, stirring until well blended.Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours or until wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool on wire rack.
