- sugar
- sour cream - 16 oz
- butter cake mix - 1 pkg
- frozen coconut, thawed - 12 oz
- frozen, whipped topping, thawed
How to make coconut cake:
Prepare cake mix according to directions. Cool and split layers. Combine sugar, sour cream and coconut; blending well. Reserve 1 cup sour cream mixture. Spread remainder between layers of cake.Combine reserved sour cream mixture with whipped topping. Spread on top and sides of cake. Refrigerate 3 days before serving.
