Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- butter - 1/3 c
- flaked coconut
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- sifted flour - 2 c
- hot water - 1/2 3/4
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- Add eggs
- box powdered sugar, sifted - 1 item
How to make coconut cake:
Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs. Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients. Beat well. Pour into greased shallow pan. Bake in a 350° oven for about 45 minutes.Frosting:1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar, sifted1/2 to 3/4 c.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
