  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/3 tsp
  • butter - 1/3 c
  • flaked coconut
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • hot water - 1/2 3/4
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • Add eggs
  • box powdered sugar, sifted - 1 item

How to make coconut cake:

Cream butter and sugar until light. Add eggs. Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients. Beat well. Pour into greased shallow pan. Bake in a 350° oven for about 45 minutes.Frosting:1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar, sifted1/2 to 3/4 c.
