Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- Duncan Hines white cake mix - 1 item
- sour cream 16 oz - 2 c
- frozen coconut not canned or fresh - 2 pkg
How to make coconut cake:
Cook cake according to box directions. Make 2 layers. When cool, cut layers in half with thread, making four layers.Mix icing ingredients well; cover and set in refrigerator overnight. Then put on cake. When putting icing on cake, stack layers, placing them back the way they were originally, but putting icing between cut edges.
