- sugar - 2 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 5 item
- flaked coconut - 1 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- cooking oil - 1 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- coconut flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make coconut cake:
Beat sugar and oil together. Add eggs; mix well. Add milk and flour; stir until mixed, then add coconut. Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Pour in cake batter; bake for 45 minutes at 350°. When cake is done, leave in pan. Mix the last 4 ingredients; boil for 1 minute. As soon as cake is removed from oven, punch holes all over top with a fork and pour this boiling mixture over it.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
