Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- frozen coconut - 1 pkg
- regular Cool Whip - 1 item
- Duncan Hines yellow cake mix butter - 1 item
- regular box sour cream - 1 item
How to make coconut cake:
Bake cake according to directions. Let cool and split layers. Mix together sugar, 1/2 package frozen coconut and sour cream. Save out 1 cup of this mixture; set aside. Spread mixture between layers. Mix the 1 cup of mixture you saved with 1 regular size Cool Whip. Frost cake. Sprinkle remaining coconut on top of cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
