- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2/3 c
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
How to make cocoa brownies:
Heat oven to 350°. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended. Blend dry ingredients, then mix in. Stir in nuts. Spread in well-greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Bake about 30 minutes. Cool; cut into 2-inch squares.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
