Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- chopped fresh parsley - 1 tsp
- small onion, chopped fine - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- bottle chili sauce - 1 oz
- jar grape jelly - 1 oz
- dry breadcrumbs - 1/2 c
How to make cocktail meatballs:
Prepare meatballs with first 9 ingredients (except add parsley before mixing); then shape into 1-inch balls. Cook meatballs in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat about 15 minutes, turning occasionally until brown.Heat chili sauce and jelly in pan, stirring constantly until jelly is melted. Add meatballs; stir until coated. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Serve hot with wooden picks. Makes about 5 dozen. Contains 40 calories per meatball.
