Cocktail meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- hamburger - 1 lb
- dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- finely chopped onion - 1/3 c
- cream - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- snipped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- shortening - 1/4 c
- bottle chili sauce - 1 oz
- jar grape jelly - 1 oz
How to make cocktail meatballs:
Mix all but chili sauce and jelly. Gently form into 1-inch balls. Brown in oven on cookie sheet at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet, stirring constantly until jelly melts. Add meatballs and stir until coated. Simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes. Serve hot in chafing dish.
