Cocktail meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- catsup - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/4 c
- dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- bottle chili sauce
- jar grape jelly - 1 oz
- Worchestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
How to make cocktail meatballs:
SAUCE1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly Mix all ingredients for meat balls and shape into walnut-sized balls. Use a small rack for drainage or improvise by using a triple layer paper toweling on a triple layer paper plate. Place 20 meatballs on top of paper toweling. Cook about 7 minutes on high until meatballs are firm. Set aside and repeat with remainder. Cover loosely with wax paper, stir half way through.Combine chili sauce and jelly in 4-cup batter bowl. Microwave covered 7 minutes on high. Add meatballs, stir well. Cover and cook 8 to 9 minutes on roast or until steaming hot.
