Cocktail ham balls
Ingredients/Components
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- soft bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- pineapple juice - 1/4 c
- ground ham - 1 lb
- lean ground pork - 1 lb
How to make cocktail ham balls:
Combine pork, ham, eggs, milk, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Shape into 1-inch balls. Arrange on a 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan. Combine brown sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and mustard; pour over ham balls. Bake in a 325° oven for 60 to 70 minutes.To Serve: Keep meatballs and sauce warm in chafing dish or fondue pot. Serve with cocktail picks. Makes about 5 dozen.
