Ingredients/Components

  • packed brown sugar - 1 c
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • vinegar - 1/2 c
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • soft bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
  • pineapple juice - 1/4 c
  • ground ham - 1 lb
  • lean ground pork - 1 lb

How to make cocktail ham balls:

Combine pork, ham, eggs, milk, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Shape into 1-inch balls. Arrange on a 10 x 15-inch jelly roll pan. Combine brown sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and mustard; pour over ham balls. Bake in a 325° oven for 60 to 70 minutes.

To Serve: Keep meatballs and sauce warm in chafing dish or fondue pot. Serve with cocktail picks. Makes about 5 dozen.
