Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- granulated sugar - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 1/3 c
- flour - 2 c
- cocoa
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- small marshmallows
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- box confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- solid shortening - 1/2 c
- Coca-Cola Classic - 1 c
- Sift sugar and flour into mixing bowl
How to make coca-cola cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Sift sugar and flour into mixing bowl. Set aside. In a saucepan, blend the Coca-Cola, butter, shortening and cocoa and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add to flour mixture. Add eggs and beat with mixer until blended. Add buttermilk, baking soda, vanilla and marshmallows. Mix well. Bake in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan for 40 minutes. Spread frosting on warm cake. Cut into squares.Coca-Cola Frosting:1/2 c. butter1/3 c. Coca-Cola Classic3 Tbsp. cocoa1 c. small marshmallows1 c. chopped pecans1 lb. box confectioners sugar In a saucepan, blend the butter, Coca-Cola and cocoa and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
