Ingredients/Components

  • Coca-Cola - 6 oz
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • Dijon mustard - 1 tsp
  • ketchup - 2 c
  • wine vinegar - 2 tsp
  • onion, finely chopped - 1 item
  • unsalted butter - 2 Tbsp
  • bay leaf, crumbled - 1 item
  • garlic, minced - 2 c

How to make coca-cola barbecue sauce:

Saute onion and garlic until soft (not browned). Add all other ingredients and simmer (up to 1 hour). Brush on chicken during final 10 to 15 minutes of grilling. Also good on pork.
