Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- shortening - 3 tsp
- well beaten egg - 1 item
- hot water - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make cloverleaf rolls:
Combine first 4 ingredients. Dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in water; add to first mixture. Add egg and enough flour so dough can be kneaded on board. Roll in small balls. Put 3 in each muffin pan that has been greased. Cover and let rise to double in size. Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Low cholesterol, Healthy 2.
