Cloud topped peanut butter fudge
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- packed brown sugar
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- sifted confectioners sugar - 2 c
How to make cloud topped peanut butter fudge:
Topping:1/2 c. packed brown sugar6 Tbsp. butter1/2 c. corn syrup2 c. sifted confectioners sugar1 c. chopped walnuts Fudge: In heavy pan, combine milk, sugar, salt and butter. Bring to boil over moderate heat. Boil 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add morsels and stir until melted and mixture is smooth. Spread into 9-inch foil-lined pan. Chill 30 minutes.Topping: In heavy pan, combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add sugar and walnuts. Spread over peanut butter fudge layer. Chill about 2 hours. Makes 3 1/4 pounds.
