Clone of a cinnabon
Ingredients/Components
- C warm milk 110~F or 45~C - 1 item
- eggs at room temperature - 2 item
- C melted margarine - 1/3 item
- 1/2 C bread flour - 4 item
- tsp salt - 1 item
- C white sugar - 1/2 item
- 1/2 tsp bread machine yeast - 2 item
- C brown sugar, packed - 1 item
- Tbsp plus 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon - 2 item
- C butter, softened - 1/3 item
- Select dough cycle; press Start
- tsp vanilla extract - 1/2 item
How to make clone of a cinnabon:
Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select dough cycle; press Start.After the dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, cover and let rest for 10 minutes. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
Roll dough into a 16 x 21 inch rectangle. Spread dough with 1/3 cup butter and sprinkle evenly with sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll up dough and cut into 12 rolls. Place rolls in a lightly greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Bake rolls in preheated oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes.Icing: 1-3 oz pkg softened cream cheese1/4 C butter, softened1 1/2 C confectioner's sugar1/2 tsp vanilla extract1/8 tsp salt Combine all ingredients until smooth and well mixed. Spread on warm rolls.
