Classic pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- Karo light or dark corn syrup - 1 c
- sugar - 1 c
- Mazola margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pecans
- unbaked 9-inch pie crust - 1 item
How to make classic pecan pie:
In large bowl, combine first 5 ingredients until blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake in a 350° oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge, comes out clean. Cool. Serves 8.For frozen crust, preheat oven and cookie sheet. Pour filling into frozen crust. Bake on cookie sheet in lower third of oven.
