Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
- seasoning salt - 1/4 tsp
- pancake flour - 2 c
- medium onions, chopped finely - 2 item
- medium clams, shucked, drained and chopped fine - 25 item
How to make clam fritters:
Combine pancake mix, salt and pepper; set aside. In another bowl beat egg and add onions. Mix well. Stir mixture into dry ingredients. Add clams. Stir until smooth. Drop clam mixture into large cast-iron skillet with hot oil. Fry until golden brown.Recipe categories: Seafood, Shellfish, Clams.
