Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- minced onion - 1/4 c
- oil or butter - 1 Tbsp
- diced potatoes - 2 c
- can clams - 1 1/2
How to make clam chowder:
Saute onions in oil until limp. Add potatoes and water. Cook 10 minutes or until tender. Add milk, spices and clams just before serving and bring to a boil. Allow to cook a few minutes before serving.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
