Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- dill weed - 1/4 tsp
- carrot, grated - 1 item
- slices bacon, diced - 2 item
- stalk celery, cut fine - 1 item
- large onions, cut fine - 2 item
- large potatoes, cut fine - 2 item
- clams and juice - 1 pt
How to make clam chowder:
Cook bacon in saucepan; add flour and stir. Add clam juice and stir until thick. Grind clams and add with vegetables and seasonings. Add enough water for chowder consistency. Cook 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
