  • milk - 4 c
  • butter - 2 3
  • bottle clam juice - 1 item
  • cans minced clams - 2 to
  • medium cream - 2 c
  • can whole clams - 1 oz
  • to 2 large onions, chopped - 1 item
  • large, raw potatoes, pared and diced - 2 item

How to make clam chowder:

Saute onions in butter until transparent. Add clam juice from bottle and from cans of clams. Add potatoes and cook until potatoes are tender. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Refrigerate overnight. Reheat and serve. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
