Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 4 tsp
  • butter
  • confectioners sugar - 2 c
  • eggs, beaten - 4 item
  • warm water - 4 c
  • powdered milk - 1 c
  • sticks butter or margarine, melted - 2 item
  • instant yeast - 4 Tbsp
  • flour, add 2 c - 13 c
  • A little warm water to make soft frosting - 1 item

How to make cinnamon rolls:

Frosting:1/4 c. butter2 c. confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla A little warm water to make soft frosting In large bowl put 2 cups flour, all the dry ingredients. With mixer add flour until dough is thick. Scrape onto floured surface, knead until smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes. Grease bowl and put ball of dough in, turning to coat. Cover with plastic wrap. Let rise until double in size, approximately 1 hour. Divide into 2 parts. Roll into rectangle 1/4 inch thick. Spread each half with 1/4 c. melted butter. Sprinkle each half with 1/2 c. brown sugar mixed with 2 tsp. cinnamon. Roll up from narrow side like jelly roll, seal long side by pinching together with fingers. Cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch slices. Lay in greased pans. Let rise to double. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes. Spread frosting over cooled rolls.
