Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- nuts - 1 item
- warm water - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Melt yeast in water. Put flour, egg, sugar, salt, shortening and yeast mix in bowl. Mix well and let raise for 30 minutes. Roll the dough round shaped. Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar, butter and nuts. Roll up and slice 1-inch thick. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Let raise again to double size. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Yeast breads, Brunch.
