Cinnamon rolls



  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cinnamon
  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt
  • flour - 8 8
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • water
  • shortening - 3/4 c
  • instant yeast - 3 Tbsp
  • to 1 1/2 sticks melted butter - 1 item

How to make cinnamon rolls:

Filler:1/4 c. cinnamon1 to 1 1/2 sticks melted butter1 c. brown sugar Mix 2 cups flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl. Under low heat, warm shortening and water at no higher than 115°. Add to dry ingredients. Add eggs and remaining flour. Knead for 10 minutes.

Cover in 5-quart ice cream pail or large container overnight. Next day, roll dough in rectangle. Spread melted butter, then sugar, flour, cinnamon mixture over dough. Roll up and cut into 20 rolls. Bake in a 375° oven for 15 minutes. Pour vanilla frosting over rolls.
