  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk
  • salt - 3 tsp
  • flour - 9 c
  • oleo - 1 c
  • yeast - 2 pkg
  • nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla - 1 item
  • lukewarm water for yeast - 3/4 c

How to make cinnamon rolls:

Use dough hooks for this recipe. Put yeast in lukewarm water with 2 teaspoons sugar in a lukewarm bowl. Leave set 15 to 20 minutes. Scald milk. Beat eggs well, then add eggs to cooled milk mixture. In mixing bowl, put sugar, oleo, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla. Cream mixture well. Add warm milk mixture. Beat well. Add yeast. Beat well. Add sifted flour, 1 cup at a time. Put in well-greased large bowl. Let rise overnight in refrigerator.

Let set in warm room until ready to bake. Divide dough in half and roll out on lightly floured board. Roll to about 12 x 18-inch. Spread melted butter on, then cinnamon-sugar mixture. Sprinkle on extra cinnamon. Roll up tightly and cut into 1-inch slices. Put in well-greased pan and let rise 2 to 3 hours (depends on warmth of room.) Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes. Leave cool little, then upset on rack. Cool completely, then upset and frost. Use powdered sugar, milk, Crisco and vanilla.
