Cinnamon potato rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- packed brown sugar
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cream - 3 Tbsp
- warm water
- active dry yeast - 2 pkg
- hot mashed potatoes - 3/4 c
How to make cinnamon potato rolls:
Combine in large bowl, sugar and potatoes; add water and yeast to mixture. Cover and let set for 1 hour in warm place. Combine filling ingredients and set aside. Stir dough down. Mix in butter, eggs and salt. Gradually add flour. Turn out on floured surface; knead until smooth. Divide dough in half; roll out in squares. Divide filling and spread on each half of dough. Roll; cut in slices. Place in 9-inch pan. Cover and raise until double in volume. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Yield: 18.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
