Cinnamon crisps



  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • milk - 3 Tbsp
  • butter - 1/3 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • sifted flour - 1 c

How to make cinnamon crisps:

Sift the first 3 ingredients together; set aside. Cream the butter until softened. Add the sugar gradually, creaming until fluffy. Alternately add dry ingredients in fourths and milk in thirds to creamed mixture, mixing until blended after each addition. Using small amount of dough at a time, roll out dough about 1/8-inch thick on a well floured surface. Cut into 2-inch squares. Transfer to a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
