Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- soft shortening - 1/4 c
How to make cinnamon coffee cake:
Sprinkle top with a mixture of 1/2 cup packed brown sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Heat oven at 375°. Grease and flour a square pan, 9 x 9 x 1 3/4-inch. Mix sugar, shortening and egg thoroughly. Stir in milk; measure flour. Blend dry ingredients. Stir in. Spread batter in pan. Sprinkle with desired topping.
