How to make cincinnati chili:

Put water, ground chuck and chopped onions in saucepan; do not brown meat. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 3 hours. Remove bay leaf. For last hour, pot may be covered after desired consistency is reached.

The chili should be served over cooked spaghetti for a two-way. For a three-way, top spaghetti with cheese (Cheddar). A four-way is spaghetti topped with chili, grated cheese and chopped onions. Red kidney beans may be added, if desired. Coneys can be made by topping a frankfurter on a bun with chili, cheese and onions.
