Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 tbsp
- water - 4 c
- 5 oz - 2 cans
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- dried oregano - 2 tsp
- garlic cloves, minced - 2 item
- dried basil - 2 tsp
- can kidney beans, drained - 1 item
- ground beef or beef tips - 1 lb
- can tomato soup with basil - 1 item
- chili powder optional - 1 tbsp
- can Italian green beans, drained - 1 item
- carrot, chopped or grated - 1 item
- 8 oz - 1 chopped
How to make chunky italian soup:
Brown ground beef and onions; drain. Add other ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes or longer. Stir in: kidney beans, green beans, carrot, and zucchini. Simmer at least 15 minutes. Add rotini noodles, stir.May sprinkle each serving with Parmesan cheese and serve with French bread.
