Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt
- soda
- shortening - 1 c
- molasses
- ginger
- light brown sugar - 1 c
- eggs, well beaten - 3 item
- bread flour - 6 c
How to make christmas gingerbread cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and molasses. Stir dry ingredients together and add. Chill. Roll out not too thin. Bake at 350° until dry, not crisp. Makes enough dough for many shaped cookies. Frost, if desired.Recipe categories: Desserts, Egg, Cookie and brownie.
