Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- brown sugar
- sticks butter - 2 item
- pecans, chopped - 8 c
- bourbon - 1 c
- candied cherries red and green - 2 lb
- candied pineapple red and green - 2 lb
- white currants - 1 lb
- each: cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves - 1 tsp
How to make christmas fruitcake cookies:
Cut fruit small. Cream butter, sugar and eggs slightly, then beat well. Add fruit and whiskey. Combine flour and spices; add to liquid mixture. Drop on greased pan by teaspoon. Bake in 300° oven 20 to 25 minutes. Makes a bunch!Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
