Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 3 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- hot water
- 2 sticks butter - 1 c
- Cut in butter until mixture looks like cornmeal
How to make christmas cut-outs:
In a mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture looks like cornmeal. Beat eggs; add sugar and beat well. Combine with flour and butter mixture. Chill dough. On lightly floured board, roll dough 1/8-inch thick. Cut and place on buttered sheet. Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 6 to 8 minutes.Frosting:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar1 Tbsp. butter1 1/2 Tbsp. hot water Combine well.
