  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • hot water
  • 2 sticks butter - 1 c
  • Cut in butter until mixture looks like cornmeal

How to make christmas cut-outs:

In a mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and baking soda. Cut in butter until mixture looks like cornmeal. Beat eggs; add sugar and beat well. Combine with flour and butter mixture. Chill dough. On lightly floured board, roll dough 1/8-inch thick. Cut and place on buttered sheet. Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 6 to 8 minutes.Frosting:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar1 Tbsp. butter1 1/2 Tbsp. hot water Combine well. Add food coloring.
