Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- coconut - 1 lb
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- oleo - 1/4 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- slivered almonds - 1/4 lb
- white raisins - 1 lb
- red and green cherries - 1/2 lb
- citron peel optional - 1/4 c
How to make christmas cake:
Cream sugar and oleo. Add eggs, milk, lemon and vanilla. In another large bowl, mix dry ingredients well. Add creamed mixture and mix well. Makes 2 small or 1 large cake. Bake 2 hours at 275°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, English.
