Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- large can crushed pineapple, undrained - 1 item
- Pour into an oblong greased and floured pan
How to make chop suey cake:
Mix by hand in above order. Pour into an oblong greased and floured pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Ice with following icing.Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick butter or margarine2 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Mix all together well and pour over hot cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
