Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 item
- cornstarch - 1 item
- water
- molasses - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1 item
- soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
- chopped onions - 1 c
- celery - 1 c
- steak
How to make chop suey:
Cut up steak into cubes; brown steak, chopped celery, onions, salt and pepper to taste. Add water, soy sauce, sugar and molasses. Bring to boil; add cornstarch to thicken. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Time to make, Main dish.
