Chocolate tea bread
Ingredients/Components
- flour
- sugar - 1 c
- applesauce - 1/2 c
- unsweetened cocoa - 1/3 c
- soft butter - 1/3 c
- water - 1/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1/3 c
How to make chocolate tea bread:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, applesauce, cocoa, butter, water, eggs, baking soda, salt and vanilla. Beat on low speed scraping bowl occasionally for 3 minutes. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips. Pour into pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until done.
