Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 4 Tbsp
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • water - 1 c
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • Minute tapioca

How to make chocolate tapioca:

Second mixture:1/4 c. Minute tapioca1/4 c. sugar1/8 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. vanilla In good size pan, put in all of first mixture. Do not have heat on burner too high or mixture will boil over. When first mixture has come to boil, add second mixture, except for vanilla. Stir constantly. When cooked this should be a thick mixture. Cool slightly and add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Refrigerate in covered (glass top if using) Corning Ware casserole or plastic cling free over top of serving dish so the cooked mixture will not have a hard cover. When ready to serve, spoon into dessert dishes and add dollop of Cool Whip on top.
