  • sugar - 4 c
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 3 c
  • cocoa - 1 c

How to make chocolate syrup:

Bring all ingredients, except vanilla to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add vanilla and cool. Keep in refrigerator. Serve warm over ice cream. Yields 1 quart.
