Chocolate sour cream coffee cake
Ingredients/Components

- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- baking powder
- flour
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- butter
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1/2 c
How to make chocolate sour cream coffee cake:
Topping:1 c. chopped nuts2 Tbsp. sugar1 tsp. cinnamon Glaze:1/4 c. butter1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, add eggs. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Combine topping ingredients. Melt butter and chips for glaze. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons topping into bottom of greased tube pan. Pour 1/2 cake batter in, sprinkle 4 tablespoons topping over batter, drizzle 1/2 glaze over topping. Spoon remaining batter into pan and sprinkle rest of topping. Bake 60 to 75 minutes at 350°. Cool and drizzle remaining glaze. Yields 20 servings.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
