Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- nuts - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- shortening or oil - 1/2 c
- Combine in saucepan margarine, shortening or oil, cocoa and water
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Sift together and set aside sugar and flour. Combine in saucepan margarine, shortening or oil, cocoa and water. Bring to boil and remove from heat. Add to 1st mixture. Then add the following: buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well and bake 20 minutes at 400° in sheet pan.Frosting:1 stick margarine4 tsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla1 c. nuts1 box powdered sugar In saucepan, melt and bring to a boil margarine, cocoa and milk.
