Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- slightly beaten eggs - 2 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Remove from heat
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Cook in saucepan the oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water; bring to boil. Remove from heat. Add the flour and sugar to this mixture. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Bake in a greased and floured baking sheet (12 x 18 x 1-inch) for 20 minutes at 350°. Ice the cake while still warm.Icing:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 lb. box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Bring the oleo, cocoa and milk to a boil.
