- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- cold water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- Icing:1 stick margarine
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Icing:1 stick margarine1/3 c. buttermilk1 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. cocoa1 box powdered sugar (3 1/2 c.)1/2 c. chopped pecans Boil water, margarine and oil. Pour over dry ingredients and beat until creamy. Add buttermilk, soda and eggs; beat again. Pour into greased and floured jelly roll pan, approximately 17 1/2 x 11 1/2-inches. Bake in 400° oven for 15 to 18 minutes.Icing: Boil margarine, cocoa and buttermilk. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and chopped nuts; mix. Spread immediately on cooled cake.
