Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- flour - 2 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- In saucepan boil shortening, oleo, water and cocoa
- water or milk - 6 tsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- nuts optional - 1 item
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Mix sugar and flour in large bowl. In saucepan boil shortening, oleo, water and cocoa. (Bring all to a boil.) Pour this mixture over the sugar and flour and mix well. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda, salt and vnailla and mix well. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 325° for 30 minutes. Frost while still hot.Frosting:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa6 tsp. water or milk1 box powdered sugar nuts (optional) Boil oleo, cocoa and water or milk. Remove from stove and add powdered sugar.
