Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 5 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- cube margarine - 1 item
- cubes margarine - 2 item
- box powdered sugar or less - 1 item
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Put 2 cubes margarine, 4 tablespoons cocoa and 1 cup milk in saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat. Mix together in large bowl the flour, sugar, soda and salt. Pour chocolate mixture over flour mixture; beat well. Add buttermilk, vanilla and eggs; beat again. Bake in large cookie sheet (jelly roll pan) at 400° for 20 minutes.Frosting: Melt 1 cube margarine. Add cocoa, milk, vanilla and powdered sugar; beat well. Frost cake when hot. Can add nuts to top.
