Chocolate puffs



Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- cocoa - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- shortening - 1/4 c
- well beaten egg - 1 item
How to make chocolate puffs:
Add water to shortening, sugar and cocoa; beat until sugar dissolves. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with combined egg, sour cream and vanilla. Fill greased cupcake pans half full; bake in moderate oven at 350° for 25 minutes. Top with marshmallow half before baking or frost with seven minute frosting.
